My Story
Summer of 2008...my husband and 3 kids in tow, moved to the mountains of North Carolina for Bible college. We left many friends & a fabulous church family behind for my husband to become a pastor.
During a visit back "home" in the summer of 2010, my friend handed me the box you see in my picture. It was filled with small fragrance testers, catalogs, & order forms. She excitedly told me about this new business she had just started and thought I'd love it too. Without letting me say no, she told me to take the box home, host a party, and if I liked it, I could join her. At the time, we were living on just my teacher's salary so my husband could devote his time to school & being a dad so that $99 start-up cost was a sacrifice. We talked. We prayed. We trusted.
Fast forward to today. I could not imagine my life without Scentsy. I have met the most amazing people along the way: customers who have become friends, friends who have become team members, and other consultants who have become family. In addition to meeting new people, I've earned trips to beautiful places because of this business. My Scentsy paychecks have helped with groceries, car payments, Christmas presents, & even the mortgage. This business has also helped me grow as a person, as a business owner, and as a leader.
